Kissing Cousins

12 Jun

These kids don’t get to see each other very often, but when they do the way they play together, and love each other, warms my heart to it’s beating core.

There’s something precious about seeing the child of your sibling’s flesh play with the child of your own flesh.
Almost as though you’re recreating your past.

There’s something special indeed about the connection between cousins, and I hope these guys always love each other like they did this day.

Gorgeous! These photos should be on a hallmark card. Well done.

How wonderful it would be if they were this close in twenty years. We lived on the other side of the country from our cousins – it would have been nice to have a close bond with them.

Yeah, we lived in different states but I try to see them every six months or so. I think it’s important to all know each other.

Oh mama. You know how to embarrass your kidlet.

I have lots of cousins, but I’m glad my mama didn’t make us kiss.

It’s your duty as a parent. You gotta have a little joy at their expense!

I love how my daughter and my sister’s daughter are the same age, and they get along so well. We often go on shopping trips with the 4 of us and have a blast!

My kids have three cousins, all in NZ, two teenagers and one the same age as our eldest. However, they’re not close, but maybe as they get older! I’m lucky to have great friends close by to take their place 🙂

Very adorable cousins. Our cousins are all a bit older but I remember my cousins being the same age.
    Thanks for linking up.

I wish they could see more of each other. I am miles older than my cousins. Well, I was, but now that they’re in their 20’s I feel like we’re nearly the same age.
      They think I’m old though.
      Rude.
